Dmitry Chernyshenko, President and CEO of Sochi 2014, today led a Sochi 2014 delegation to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Official Debrief of the Beijing 2008 Games, that is taking place in London between 24 and 27 November. During the four day event, Sochi 2014 will join senior officials from Beijing 2008, Vancouver 2010, London 2012, the IOC and other Olympic and Paralympic Games stakeholders, such as representatives of the 2016 Candidate Cities.

The IOC Official Debrief of the Beijing 2008 Games is a key part of the IOC’s transfer of knowledge programme. It will give future Games Organising Committees the chance to learn from the experience and knowledge gained by their Beijing counterparts during their seven years of preparation to stage innovative Olympic and Paralympic Games.
