Russian hockey legends visit Sochi World
Sochi World today received a visit by three of Russia's greatest hockey legends, Alexander Yakushev, Alexey Kasatonov and Victor Tikhonov, who are known to hockey fans around the world.

The legends were given a presentation about the Sochi 2014 Olympic venue concept and led to an exhibition of hockey memorabilia, including Yakushev's helmet and many other legends' jerseys, sticks and autographs.

Alexander Yakushev is a legend of Soviet Hockey, two-time Olympic champion, seven-time World and European champion, three-time national champion, participant in the famous super series USSR v Canada in 1972, where he was named the best player in his team by gaining 11 points (7 goals and 4 passes)

Alexey Kasatonov is two-time Olympic champion, five-time World champion, national champion, participant in the game of “all starts” with the NHL in 1994

Victor Tikhonov is a famous coach, who has achieved outstanding results with his teams: three-time Olympic champion, eight-time World champion, and two-time winner of the USSR cup.
