The next stage of RIOU’s development began in June with the laying of the first foundation stone of the University compound in Sochi in the presence of the Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and International Olympic Committee President Jacques Rogge. The University will focus on educational issues along with the preservation, research and promotion of international and Russian Olympic experience.
