Denis Polyakov graduated from Russian State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism majoring in Tennis. As a specialist in marketing, he took part in the preparations for and staging of the 1995 Kremlin Cup in Moscow. That year he joined «Komanda» company — the exclusive representative of IMG’s US marketing company in Moscow — occupying positions as a marketing specialist and marketing and sales manager, where he worked on the development of commercial programs, sponsorship contracts and commercial rights. Among his clients were some of the world’s largest companies and leading athletes.

Denis Polyakov was born in 1973. He is married and has one child.
