Mikhail Safronov graduated in Applied Mathematics (Mechanics chair) from Moscow State University in 1992, and gained a second degree in Financial Management and Investment Analysis five years later.
In 2002, he qualified as a Lawyer at the Academic University of Law, part of the Russian Academy of Sciences’ (RAS) Institute of Government and Law. From 1992 to 2007, Mr Safronov held management positions in both finance and project management, and was also in charge of legal and tax consulting at an auditing company between 1997 and 2004 where his clients included some of Russia’s largest public and private organizations.
From 2002 to 2005 he was at the helm of a joint-stock company «Legal and Financial technologies», which specialised in allocating orders commissioned for Federal Governmental requirements. In 2006, Mr. Safronov was the head of the Centre of Law Technologies at the Russian Government’s Academy of National Economy, and from 2006 to 2007 was deputy director general of the «Integrator of Intellectual Property Rights» company, specialising in authorship rights.
Mikhail Safronov was born in 1968 and is married
and has two children.
